TEDxChiangMai

TEDxChiangMai 2025 – Actions for our Future will bring together speakers, partners, audiences, performances, art, activities, workshops, and field trips to explore social, environmental, technological, artistic, and policy issues that matter here and now. Together, we asked: How can we build a better future for Chiang Mai, Thailand, and beyond — a world that works for everyone? We asked hard questions and sought clear answers. Aiming for impact by creating space for ideas, understanding, and scalable actions. Topics range from climate justice and rewilding to corporate impact strategies, AI and climate, SDGs, systems thinking, and more — all grounded in the local context while connected to global solutions. TEDxChiangMai 2025 is a TED Countdown Anchor Event, one of only a small number of regional anchor and flagship events connected to the global TED Countdown initiative. TED Countdown is TED’s worldwide effort to accelerate solutions to the climate crisis. By being part of this network, our event will be promoted internationally and linked to other Countdown events — and to the COP30 conference in Belém, Brazil, in November 2025. Alongside the inspiring mix of talks TEDxChiangMai is known for, we hosted activities that conclude with a community lunch, creating opportunities for deeper connection. We also organized more workshops, interactive activities, and audience engagement than ever before. Our chosen venue, CMU UNISERV, gave us the flexibility and space to make this possible, and we’re proud to partner with them. UNISERV helped make the event carbon-neutral, minimize waste, and demonstrate sustainable event practices in action.
