Barbara Ramos Pinheiro
Biologist with a Master’s and PhD in Oceanography from UFPE. Researcher at PACTOMAR | UNIFESP | Maré de Ciências. Member of the Executive Secretariat of the League of Women for the Ocean and National Coordinator of Black Women in Ecology, Evolution, and Marine Science. Or simply, a Scientific Mermaid and JEDI ;)
Carlos Burle
Carlos Burle is a big wave world champion, entrepreneur, coach, and speaker. A global reference in high-risk surfing, he is featured in the Guinness Book of World Records for his historic achievements in the sport. Throughout his career, he has transformed his experience in extreme conditions into powerful lessons on courage, discipline, leadership, and purpose. Today, he inspires individuals, leaders, and teams to face their own “rough seas,” showing that it’s possible to turn challenges into opportunities and reach their fullest potential.
Daniella Martins
A Rio de Janeiro resident at heart and fashion designer, she is the creator of the Doar Fashion project, which has promoted circular fashion as a tool for social and environmental transformation since 2011. Through her work, she has raised around R$9 million in donations, all of which have been fully directed to social institutions. Her work connects sustainability, conscious consumption, and solidarity—showing how fashion can be a powerful agent of change in times of climate crisis.
Ethel Maciel
Epidemiologist and nurse. She is a full professor at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES), where she served as vice-rector and was elected rector. She was Secretary of Health and Environmental Surveillance at Brazil’s Ministry of Health (2023–2025). A specialist in infectious diseases, with a focus on tuberculosis, she chairs the World Health Organization’s Strategic and Technical Advisory Group for Tuberculosis (STAG-TB) and serves as a consultant for the Pan American Health Organization’s Strategic Advisory Group on the Elimination Initiative for Diseases in the Americas. She is also a Special Envoy for COP30 in the Health Sector.
Henrique Barbosa
A Rio native and lawyer, Henrique Corredor Barbosa is the co-founder and president of Instituto Ventus. He created the Downwind Solidário project, where he transformed his passion for kitesurfing into a social impact movement. He is also a partner at Raphael Miranda, Mello, Raposo e Barbosa Advogados.
Natalie Unterstell
Natalie Unterstell quer dar respostas à emergência climática com ideias e tecnologias do nosso tempo, porque não temos tempo a perder. É uma das fundadoras do Instituto Talanoa, organização brasileira inspirada nas referências dos povos do Pacífico sobre liderança climática. Já negociou pelo Brasil na ONU, liderou o maior programa de adaptação do país e foi a primeira brasileira na maior expedição feminina à Antártida. Também é co-apresentadora do podcast Las Niñas e move ideias e narrativas para acelerar a transição para longe dos combustíveis fósseis.

Executive Director of Instituto Decodifica, a civic intelligence organization that uses citizen-generated data to place favelas and underserved communities at the center of decision-making. I integrate technology, data, and community mobilization to advance racial, climate, and digital justice. Founder of Próxim8, Confluência das Favelas, and the “O Clima é de Mudança” Coalition. Fellow of the Lemann Foundation’s Leaders Network and a Young Global Changer.
