• Abhiram Konakondla

  My name is Abhiram Konakondla, and I’m currently in 11th grade. I’m a third-degree black belt in Taekwondo, a national weapons champion, and a performer who’s toured across the country sharing my culture. But outside the ring and the stage, I love strolling the streets around my neighborhood, watching Marvel movies, and staying grounded in the little moments. I’m passionate about staying motivated, speaking in front of crowds, and connecting with people—listening to their stories and learning what drives them. TEDx is where I want to share my own story, shaped by discipline, imagination, and a genuine love for people.

• Ayesha Shelar

  Hi! My name is Ayesha Shelar and I’m a junior in Coppell High School! I’m very passionate about the arts; I’m in choir, love the visual arts, and do Kathak, an Indian Classical dance. I also love reading and writing whenever I can! Whenever I’m not indulging in these interests or studying, I love to hang out with my friends and my cats, cook, and volunteer!

  Evanshui KC, a Junior currently situated in Dallas, Texas, is passionate about helping people embrace their self-confidence and strengths through her personal experiences in moving across the world. Her TedX speech will discuss the hidden shocks that come with relocation, and how to take advantage of them to find courage in new beginnings.

• Harini Ramamurthy

  Hey everyone, I am Harini Ramamurthy and I’m a senior at Coppell High School. I am engaged in various activities at my school including CHSA, HOSA, STUCO and more while I co-president a first year club called Anatomical Society. I am a passionate dancer and specialize in Bollywood and Bharatnatyam. I aspire to become a pediatrician and advocate for free healthcare and women’s healthcare.

• Ishita Sharma

  Ishita Sharma is a sophomore at Coppell High School with a passion for finding innovative ways to tackle today’s most pressing challenges, especially through emerging technologies. Whether she’s diving into algorithms with Girls Who Code, engineering creative solutions in TSA, or debating ethical tech issues with the National Speech and Debate Association, she enjoys combining her love for problem-solving and expression to inspire change. Ishita is also part of the Coppell Math Team, AI Club, NHS, and Student Council, where she enjoys applying logic and leadership to both academic and community challenges. In her downtime, she is often found perfecting guitar solos, practicing martial arts, diving deep into the world of AI, or enjoying a lively debate with friends about everything from technology to current events. Above all, she’s driven by a passion to make a meaningful, positive impact on her community and the world around her.

• Katy Yan

  Katy Yan is a junior at Coppell High School. She has been involved in choir for three years in high school and is currently singing in A Cappella. Katy also is a debater and loves to be involved in the community, whether that’s serving on the Coppell Teen Advisory Group at the library or volunteering as a tutor for piano and school subjects. She hopes to continue her passion for music and learning as well as pursue a career in law for the future. Outside of school, you can find her looking at the newest candles in Homegoods and playing the ukulele.

• Keshav Taneja

  Keshav Taneja, a senior at Coppell High School, is a highly passionate student with an interest in computer science. At school he’s involved in various organizations, including the Technology Student Association, where he serves as the competition committee co-chair. In his spare time, Keshav enjoys making video games, playing soccer, and learning new skills. His goal is to have a long-lasting positive impact on the world.

• Maya Asturias

  Maya Asturias is a junior at Coppell High School and is a part of the National Art Honors Society and the Coppell High Speakers Association. She loves any chance to be creative and enjoys drawing, writing, reading novels, and playing video games! She has been playing tennis for 4 years and is a part of her school's tennis team. Maya has a passion for gaining new and profound experiences, and wants to travel to as many countries as she can!

• Meghna Ramaswamy

  Hi, I’m Meghna Ramaswamy—a passionate student equally driven by my passion for art and science. I love painting and competing in art contests. I also dedicate my time to researching scientific topics and learning about new issues that we need to spread awareness on.

• Navtej Konatam

  Navtej Konatam is a driven student with a long-standing passion for finance, real estate, and the power of strategic thinking. As a DECA state finalist in business and an intern at a real estate firm, he continues to sharpen his skills through real-world experience. Navtej manages his own trading portfolio, which he successfully grew by 197% last year, and is currently conducting research on economic game theory, the foundation of modern finance, with professors from Northwestern University. His TED Talk focuses in on how AI tools can outperform humans in managing investment portfolios, reflecting his deep interest in the intersection of technology and finance. Navtej plans to pursue a career in investment banking and is committed to exploring innovative ways to shape the future of financial decision-making.

• Saanvika Gandhari

  Saanvika Gandhari is a sophomore at Coppell High School. She loves Mexican food, scrolling through Pinterest, and watching random video essays. If you were to stumble upon her in the wild, you'd likely catch her writing articles, prepping for a debate tournament, or making jewelry. As an aspiring aerospace engineer, she also volunteers at the Frontiers of Flight Museum and is involved in her school's aerospace club, Technology Student Association, and Society of Women Engineers. She is very grateful and excited for the opportunity to speak at this event, and is looking forward to sharing her ideas and improving her public-speaking skills.

• Sadhana Gangadharan

  Sadhana Gangadharan is a Junior at Coppell High School. She is passionate about a variety of different fields; however, she has a strong interest in Technology, Astronomy, and Public Speaking. As a result of these interests, she is the school's co-founder and co-president of Coppell AI Club, a part of Coppell Speech and Debate, and of course Coppell Student Speakers Association. When she isn't studying for school or browsing through online courses, you can most likely find her at home, snuggled up to a good fantasy read, coming up with stories of her own, singing to her favorite songs, or exploring different styles of art. She hopes to make the greatest impact she possibly can on the world around her, and impact the stories of others as well.

• Safiya Azam

  Safiya Azam is a high schooler passionate about public speaking, advocacy, and the arts. As she makes her way through junior year, her days are filled with typing up debate arguments and stories for her school’s newspaper, as well as crafting pieces for her IB Art portfolio. When she isn’t engrossed in her latest project, you can find her at her local thrift store, listening to podcasts, trying new foods, or perfecting her Pinterest boards.

• Sathvika Nivasini Bhaskar Chitra

  Sathvika Nivasini Bhaskar Chitra is a driven 15-year-old high school sophomore, aspiring entrepreneur, tech enthusiast, and mental wellness advocate. She is the Founder and CEO of Vibe With Self, a platform promoting self-love, connection, and emotional wellness. Passionate about innovation, she is writing a hypothesis-driven research paper in quantum physics. As a TEDx speaker, she shared her story of embracing individuality and rising above beauty standards. She has earned honors like Best Speaker, Top Impromptu Speaker, and Global Groups Public Speaking Champion (Humorous, 2024–25) from Toastmasters International. A strong leader and communicator, she was a nationally qualified cultural exhibitor (India, 2023–24), recognized for her pitching and presentation skills. She ranks in the Top 2% of coders globally (Under 18, 2022), is a National Honor Society member, and actively leads and volunteers across youth-led initiatives. She aims to uplift others and spark meaningful change.

• Shanzay Kashif

  Shanzay Kashif is currently a Junior in highschool who has a deep passion into medicine. Raised with both her parents as doctors, she was exposed to the medical field at quite a young age. Her passion of helping those around her has led her to have a desire to continue it into the future.

• Shourya Chawla

  I’m Shourya Chawla, a sophomore at Coppell High School, driven by a passion for community service, public speaking, and sports. I dream of becoming a financial advisor and one day starting my own consulting firm to help others. In my free time, I enjoy strategizing over chess, having fun on the soccer field, and bonding with friends through board games. I’m thrilled to bring my energy and ideas to TEDx, inspiring others to believe in the transformative power of AI.
