• Hayeon Son

  Hayeon Son is a 10th grader attending Valor International Scholars who is passionate about emotional intelligence, human connection, and most importantly passing them on to the next generations. She believes empathy is essential for reducing misunderstandings, resolving conflicts, and building a peaceful, cooperative society.

• Healynn Cho

  Healynn Cho is a 10th grader attending Valor International Scholars who has a passion for storytelling, art, and advocacy. Having lived both in South Korea and the United States, she brings a unique cross-cultural perspective to her experiences. Healynn has served in student leadership, contributed to mental health awareness projects, and led creative media initiatives that help students express themselves through art and design. Her journey has taught her the power of empathy, not just as an emotion, but as a force for connection, sacrifice, and growth. Whether she’s speaking on stage or designing behind the scenes, Healynn hopes to inspire others to see the quiet acts of love that shape who we become.

• Jiho Kim

  Jiho Kim is an 11th grade student at an international school in South Korea and the founder of the Asia chapter of Alzheimer’s organization. Passionate about medicine and human rights, Jiho has Jiho has volunteered on medical missions in Vietnam, where he observed surgeries, supported patients, and saw healthcare disparities firsthand.

• Miel Park

  Miel Park is a 10th grade student at Valor International Scholars, as well as a two-time published author who sees storytelling as a powerful way to bridge an audience with authentic human experiences, inviting connection. Miel believes in the power and importance of societies built on empathy, and she hopes to remind people that small acts of compassion can have life-changing impacts.

• Timothy Park

  Timothy Park is a 11th grade student at Valor International Scholars, who founded the Global Senior Support Network, an international effort to link elderly populations across the world. Timothy holds a close personal interest in elderly care. He strives to tackle matters of aging, and isolation for seniors. Timothy creates solution systems aimed at developing real connections, empowerment, and support for senior citizens globally. Through his program, intergenerational communication is promoted, as well as breaking the age stigma through active involvement and solution-based activities.
