"Roots to Wings"

Took placeFebruary 7, 2026
LocationWah Cantt, Punjab, Pakistan
FormatUniversity
At TEDxUniversityofWah, we explore the transformative journey from strong foundations to limitless possibilities. Just like a tree grows from its roots, reaching higher with each passing day, our lives too are shaped by the experiences, values, and knowledge that ground us. But to truly soar, we must spread our wings, embracing change, growth, and the courage to take flight into the unknown. This year's theme celebrates the interplay between heritage and innovation, tradition and progress. It's about understanding where we come from to better navigate where we are going. Whether it's personal growth, scientific discovery, or social change, "Roots to Wings" invites speakers and attendees alike to reflect on how our origins give us strength, and how we use that strength to break through barriers and rise to new heights.
