• Alice Sharafyan

  Born and raised in Armenia, Alice Sharafyan is a communications strategist and youth activist with nearly a decade of experience in public relations, civil society, and human rights. She currently manages PR and communications at the Hayastan All Armenian Fund, leading outreach and diaspora engagement campaigns. Alice started as a photographer and content creator before taking leadership roles in AEGEE-Yerevan. She has organized awareness campaigns and international trainings on democratic participation, gender equality, and media literacy. Alice studied Politics and Governance at the American University of Armenia (Class of 2025) and will pursue a Master’s in Human Rights and Social Justice. An active member of Generation Democracy Network and AGBU Young Professionals, she is passionate about visual storytelling and inclusive governance.

• Arusik Ohanyan

  Arusik Ohanyan is a gender expert and human rights defender from Armenia with over a decade of experience in gender equality, social justice, and inclusive development. With a background in social work and human rights, she currently serves as a Gender Equality Expert at UNICEF Armenia. Arusik has led initiatives with national and international organizations including USAID and Human Rights House Yerevan, focusing on integrating gender and youth inclusion into male-dominated sectors, policy reform, and rights-based programming. She holds a Master’s in Human Rights and Democratization and actively contributes to regional and global efforts on inclusion and equity. Arusik is committed to systemic change through inclusive policies and believes in building a society where equity is foundational and every individual can thrive.

• Hovsepyan Mamikon

  Mamikon Hovsepyan is an LGBT+ activist and human rights defender based in Armenia. He began his activism in 2002. Mamikon advocates for LGBT+ rights and broader human rights both nationally and internationally. He serves as advocacy officer of the Eastern European Coalition for LGBT+ Equality, co-secretary of ILGA-Europe’s executive board, and board member of Human Rights House Yerevan. He also contributes to national HIV/AIDS response efforts. Mamikon holds degrees in Sociology and Human Rights and Democratization, focusing on health, gender, and equality. His work has earned him international recognition, including the Bob Hepple Equality Award (2017), the Changemaker Award (2018, LA), and the Soul of Stonewall Award (2018, Berlin).

• Seda Seyranyan

  Seda Seyranyan is a psychologist specializing in personality development, counseling, and inclusive education. Since completing her Master’s in Personality Psychology and Counseling in 2014, she has worked in schools supporting teachers, students—including those with special educational needs—and parents, while also maintaining a private practice with adults. Since 2020, she has been involved as a trainer with four organizations accredited by Armenia’s Ministry of Education, delivering courses on psychology, inclusion, and education law for teachers and education leadership candidates. Seda continues to participate in professional development programs and workshops. Her key areas of interest include trauma recovery mechanisms, existential psychology, and the ongoing, healthy development of the individual as a path to healing and self-discovery.

• Seryan Yenokyan

  Seryan Yenokyan is an Armenian youth worker, environmental activist, and mentor passionate about empowering young people to become changemakers. He is pursuing a degree in Service at the European University of Armenia while leading the ECO Group Youth Environmental NGO, which he founded in 2021. Through ECO Group, Seryan has organized trainings, workshops, and campaigns to promote sustainability and youth-led action. As a mentor, he supports Armenian youth in accessing international programs, scholarships, and leadership opportunities. Recognized in 2024 for his contributions to youth empowerment and environmental advocacy, Seryan remains committed to building a generation of engaged, informed, and environmentally conscious young leaders.

• Zatikyan Edgar

  Born and raised in Yerevan, Armenia, Edgar Zatikyan, 25, has a background in tourism, human rights, and student activism. His leadership as Student Council President at Brusov State University demonstrate his commitment to positive change. With a foundation in political science, Edgar also enjoys urban planning, gaming, and reading. Recognized for his achievements, including getting the 2nd place of the "Best Student Award" in Armenia in 2022. Edgar is passionate about contributing to the growth of individuals and communities, defense of justice and human rights.
