• Ana Ye Zhang

  Ana Ye Zhang is a biomedical engineer, nurse, and entrepreneur. She is the founder and CEO of Ownmed Innovation, a health-tech spin-off developing medical solutions—particularly for people with ostomies. Her flagship innovation, Ostofix, is a patented anti-reflux device designed to restore continence control and significantly improve patients’ quality of life. With a background in Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, and an MBA, Ana bridges clinical insight with technological innovation. Under her leadership, Ownmed has received multiple awards, secured international patents, completed its first investment round, and progressed to the preclinical stage with biocompatible prototypes. She was selected for the VI Excellence Program Women and Engineering by the Royal Academy of Engineering and has received accolades including the UC3M TFM Emprende Award and the Female Founders Award 2024. In 2024, she was also second runner-up in the Princess of Girona Awards (Crea Empresa category).

• Anna Zelno

  Anna is the CEO of intercultures Spain & LATAM, co-founder of the Academy for Diversity & Innovation. She is an experienced diversity and innovation consultant who enjoys working in diverse sectors such as education, business, NGOs, and public institutions. The primary goal of her instructional design of its training programs is sustainable learning. Anna is an active member and former president of SIETAR Spain (Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research) and a former board member of SIETAR Europa.

• Esteban Berlanga

  Esteban Berlanga is an acclaimed Spanish ballet dancer with an outstanding international career. Initially drawn to flamenco, he transitioned to classical ballet during his studies at the Royal Professional Conservatory of Music and Dance in Albacete, later continuing at the Royal Conservatory of Dance in Madrid. From 2013 to 2018, Esteban was a principal dancer with Spain’s Compañía Nacional de Danza (CND) where he expanded his repertoire with both classical and contemporary works by Forsythe, Galili, Petit, Cue, Duato, and others. Since 2018, he has been part of the Zurich Ballet, where he was promoted to Principal Dancer in 2022. Celebrated for his technical virtuosity, artistic sensitivity, and deep character interpretation, Esteban Berlanga stands as an inspiration to new generations of dancers in Spain and beyond.

• Esther Ruiz Moya

  Strategic Communication Consultant and Trainer with over 20 years of experience in media and corporate communication. She holds a Law degree and a Master’s in Corporate Communication and Digital Marketing. Esther has worked in leading media groups such as Onda Cero, Cadena SER, Mediaset, and Atresmedia. She currently serves as Director of Revista Antena and is on the Editorial Board of 65ymás. She is also a board member of the Federation of Radio and Television Professionals of Spain. In addition to her media work, she is a writer, lecturer, and presenter. Her accolades include the Antena de Oro (2022), the Círculo Rojo Editorial Award (2021), and the Antena de Plata (2015).

• Felipe Couñago

  Felipe Couñago is a medical doctor specializing in Radiation Oncology with a robust clinical, academic, and research career. A graduate in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Santiago de Compostela, he trained at Hospital Universitario La Princesa in Madrid and currently serves as Medical Director of GenesisCare Spain. He earned his PhD cum laude from Universidad Europea de Madrid, with a focus on prostate cancer imaging. He has held academic roles at several institutions, including Universidad Europea, Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio, and CEU Madrid, and is actively supervising eight PhD theses. With over 150 scientific publications, an h-index of 22, and leadership in multiple clinical studies on prostate and lung cancer, Felipe is a founding member of GIMOR and collaborates with major oncology research groups in Europe. He also serves on editorial boards and organizes national oncology congresses.

• Laura Monedero

  Laura is a journalist with over 25 years of experience in print, radio, and television. Born in Albacete and holding a degree in Information Sciences, she has built a solid career in investigative journalism, contributing to programs such as A Fondo (Televisión Autonómica de Murcia) and El Punto de Mira (Castilla-La Mancha TV). She specializes in social issues, giving voice to everyday heroes through shows like Héroes Anónimos on Castilla-La Mancha Media and El Sitio de mi Recreo on Radio Castilla-La Mancha. Her storytelling extends to film, with her debut short La Figura Oculta, portraying the life of Crescencio, an 87-year-old man with a secret gift. Laura is also the author of Ni en mil vidas que vivieras, a moving collection of life stories from elders across Castilla-La Mancha, offering a window into a challenging chapter of Spanish history. Laura’s work is marked by deep empathy and a commitment to preserving memory and dignity through powerful, human-centered narratives.

• Sara Degli-Esposti

  Sara Degli-Esposti is a Scientific Researcher in Ethics and Artificial Intelligence and leads the Applied Ethics Group at the Institute of Philosophy of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). She is the author of the book "La ética de la inteligencia artificial". Her current research focuses on algorithmic bias, psychosocial vulnerabilities, and trust-building in platform economies. In previous work, she challenged the false dichotomy between security and privacy in national security contexts. She currently leads the project "VAE: Value Engineering in AI Systems" and heads the ethics tasks of the European project “SafeHorizon,” focused on innovative approaches to detecting and intercepting criminal activities. Sara holds a PhD from The Open University (UK), where she explored data protection principles in big data environments.

• Tomás Segura

  Tomás Segura is a neurologist and Full Professor of Neurology at the University of Castilla-La Mancha. He completed his residency at Hospital de La Princesa (Madrid) and holds a PhD in Medicine. Since 2000, he has worked at the University Hospital of Albacete, where he has led the Stroke Unit since 2009 and has served as Head of Neurology since 2012. He has been principal investigator in over 40 international projects and received 17 competitive research grants focused on stroke, neurodegeneration, neuro-oncology, Parkinson’s, and post-COVID syndrome. Author of more than 190 indexed articles and 40 book chapters, his h-index is 41. Currently, he leads a multidisciplinary research team exploring both clinical and molecular aspects of neurological diseases. He is also Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine in Albacete, a full member of the Regional Academy of Medicine, and Vice President of the Official College of Physicians of Albacete.
