As current seniors in high school, we have become aware that many students go into college with an undecided major. The problem with having to choose a major, and ultimately your career, at such a young age is that many students have not yet had the exposure to the wide range of career fields the world has to offer. Our goal with this event is to introduce students to numerous potential career options and hopefully aid in their decision toward a major as they enter the next chapter of their life. The speaker panel will consist of professionals in a wide variety of career fields in an effort to accomplish this goal.

  • David DeLorenzo

    David DeLorenzo is a leading CEO and Owner of the Ambassador Group: Bar and Restaurant Insurance. He aims to provide protection for the bar and nightclub industries, sparked by his fascination with the hospitality business.

  • Jennifer Dorsch

    As the coordinator of Desert Mountain High School's College and Career Center, Jennifer Dorsch is the ideal source to turn to with uncertainty about your major or college selection. She provides students with countless tools and tests that they can utilize to further eliminate career options in order to make their ideal selection.

  • John Banquil

    John Banquil is symbolic of what it means to be a small business owner. Starting his own local asian restaurant, and expanding it to become a chain, he will share his experience on how he built his business up from the grounds of Scottsdale, Arizona.

  • Lindsey Seitchik

    Lindsey Seitchik Political Consultant Lindsey Seitchik is Principal at SHQ, LLC. She received her BA in History at the University of CA, Davis, and has since made a large impact in the community, making her well respected by all who know her.

  • Sabrina Manero

    Sabrina is committed to Duke University and is the ideal candidate to share how she got there throughout her high school experiences.

  • Shawn Emmons

    Dr. Shawn Emmons specializes in sports psychology, depression, anxiety, and OCD. With her PhD, she is fully equipped with the knowledge necessary to treat various mental health conditions. As a local health provider, Dr. Emmons is the perfect speaker for advice on how to cope with the future.
