People in our culture generally believe that if our fundamental rights are protected, we will have a future safe enough to survive in. However, things aren't quite so easy in the modern world. Random circumstances are not sufficient to determine the future of our society. One of the main components of our future existences is the climate change that has already begun to express itself. The vast majority of climate activists are persistently engaged in efforts to lessen humankind's impact on the planet through lowering carbon emissions. The end goal of all of these measures is to maintain safe levels of environmental quality. The causes and consequences of climate change are complex, but we're here to try a different approach that may yield insights on how to address the problem. To boil it all down, any change in our climate will almost surely impact the natural world's biodiversity. The entire natural ecology may be threatened by these alterations. As a result of these setbacks, our nation's agriculture industry as a whole is being severely impacted. To give an overarching example, there are three main types of biodiversity on Earth: genetic biodiversity, plant biodiversity, and animal biodiversity. The elimination of useful species—such as agricultural plants, animal breeds, and fish species—is just one consequence of climatic irregularities that has far-reaching effects on our natural environment. Accordingly, a significant portion of agricultural components is lost due to biodiversity loss. Understanding the value of culture as a tool for combating and adapting to climate change, the causes of climate change can be mitigated in part through the utilization of cultural and natural heritage as well as creative solutions. Important for both preserving biodiversity and reducing carbon emissions, natural heritage places play a vital role. Communities can greatly benefit from the use of intangible cultural heritage practices in order to adjust to a warming planet. However, traditional knowledge, social activities, festive events, and the performing arts—including vital information about the environment—are all at risk from climate change. There is no recreation since there are no cultural practices. As a result, communities all over the world are finding their daily lives upended by climate change, severely restricting their opportunities to enjoy and participate in their own cultural practices. Our goal is that this countdown event will help us get the word out about the climate solutions we've been working on. In order to promote a better way of life, we'd want to highlight the importance of bringing up topics like sustainable food options and increasing potential. Our team is also investigating renewable energy options that may mitigate the damage caused by natural disasters. Given the scarcity of resources, we want to conduct an in-depth analysis of our current way of life to determine what, if any, adjustments may be made to improve our standard of living, both on dry ground and at sea. In accordance with the idea of acknowledgment to action, we shall restore our biodiversity, energy, food, and nature by tackling more Sustainable Development Goals to broaden our perspective. For our efforts to succeed, we require climate solutions that are both broad in scope and sensitive to the needs of the people on whom they depend. We need to move away from gradual improvement and toward radical reinvention. We need to improve the energy, food, industrial, urban, and social systems as a whole. So, it's the right time to say, "Let’s plan to protect the future we have and we choose"

  • Amitabh Reza Chowdhury

    Bangladeshi filmmaker

    Amitabh Reza Chowdhury is a prominent advertising & film director in Bangladesh.He is a director who never fails to captivate audiences with fresh new ideas.In his career, he has directed nearly fifteen hundred television commercials. Amitabh has also directed a few television films to critical acclaim. " Aynabaji" "Rickshaw Girl" "Munshigiri" are some of his amazing works.He founded the production house 'half stop down', which mainly produces TVCs.He has also worked as adjunct faculty in the Television, Film & Photography Department of the University of Dhaka.Chowdhury received a number of national and international awards for his work. He was awarded with the Meril-Prothom Alo Best Film Director Award in 2017. He also received the Best Film Award in Seattle South Asian Film Festival in 2016 for Aynabaji

  • Dr. Md. Mahmudul Hasan Sikder

    He is the professor of departmemt of pharmacology under the faculty of veterinary Science at BAU. Apart from this he is involved with several. He is the National Technical advisor, FAO and also the founder of school of essential skills ( youtube channel) in which he creates excellent contents on life skills improvement. His activities are just not limited here rather he has spread his professional capabilities of public speaking through different workshops in different universities including SAU,CVASU,HSTU. His wonderful manner of speaking captivates all the listeners.He is determined to build up skilled young generation for future.His enthusiastic approach not only motivated the students but also the teachers. He has been awarded with the 1st prize in the 3rd international scientific conference on food saftey and health, 2020 for his outstanding oral presentation. He has conducted the very first veterinary Olympiad 2022 in Bangladesh. He is also associated with CEVET, BCVS etc.

  • Dr. Md. Monjurul Alam

    Md. Monjurul Alam, PhD is a frontier researcher in the field of agricultural machinery and post-harvest technologies contributing over the years for innovation and dissemination of appropriate scale agricultural mechanization. He is leading as Principal Investigator of the project ‘Post-Harvest Loos Reduction Innovation Lab (PHLIL) – Bangladesh’ for preventing post-harvest losses of paddy in Bangladesh and also as the Project Director of ‘Appropriate Scale of Mechanization Innovation Hub (ASMIH) – Bangladesh’ funded by Feed the Future, USAID and ADMI, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. He is serving as a professor in the Department of Farm Power and Machinery, Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Bangladesh. He has served as one of the members of the first ‘National Agricultural Mechanization Policy’ formulation in Bangladesh. Dr. Alam has also served as the Director of Bangladesh Agricultural University Research System (BAURES) to coordinate research management systems for national and international donors. He has published more than 80 peer reviewed scientific papers in national and international journals.

  • Mahathir Mahmud Antik

    Animator | Cartoonist | Youtuber | Comicbook Artist

    Mahathir Mahmud Antik is popular for his YouTube videos and cartoon vlogs among the youth in Bangladesh. He has made a name for himself as an animator, author, and a cartoonist. His first debut as an author is in the book, "Bhallagena", with Ayman Sadiq, which was published in 2019. He released a thriller comic -novel titled "Chol",published by Addhayan Publications in 2020, and was recently adapted into an interactive tele-fiction by Bongo BD. 'Noman-1', 'Noman-2' and 'Tin' are some of his other published books.The official music video of 'Behula' by Shunno was created by Antik Animated Studio. This was one of Antik's most notable projects so far.He even created an animation-learning course with 10 Minute School for beginners.Antik has recently been awarded at the 'Marvel of Tomorrow Influencers Award 2021' in the art category.In the next five to 10 years, Antik aims to grow bigger gradually.His ultimate dream is to lead the animation industry of Bangladesh.

    Zuhair Ahmed Kowshik is an Environment and Climate Policy Advocate. He is the global representative of Children and Youth Major Group at UN Environment Programme. He is also the acting Manager of EARTHDAY.ORG. Being a Bangladeshi born global citizen, Zuhair is very loyal towars "Mother Nature". He demonstrates excellent leadership skills and has ample experience of working with different organisations and institutions ranging from Government agencies to academic institutions, NGOs, youth associations, etc. He has completed his graduation and post graduation on Disaster Management from Institute of Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies, University of Dhaka. As a recognition of his tireless social and environmental works, Zuhair was awarded 'Hanyang (South Korea) Youth Changemaker Award" in 2017.
