TEDxYantaiHuashengIntlSchool

The theme for our event is “Breaking through.” This embodies thinking again about our lives' purposes outside the social norms and frames through which we see ourselves. What are social norms anyways? What are social standards? Can we ever break them? Should we? If so, how? Through meaningful talks, we wish to share with the audience the importance of breaking through the boundaries of meaningless expectations and limitations. We hope to target those who need intellectual motivation that could serve as steppingstones for their self-development and subsequent strivings for their goals in the future. Yet, we also wish to share how striving for integrity, compassion, independence, justice, growth, and productivity also requires one to care about mindfulness.
