DME Noida is proud to be a part of TED Countdown initiative and contribute to educating, inspiring, and generating a deeper understanding of the climate crisis.In this endeavour, TEDxDME Noida aims to provide a platform to all dreamers, thinkers, and doers who have contributed and continue to help us to combat climate change and work towards making our environment a better place to live in. We bring together creative leaders from various Indian Diasporas, facilitate discourse around climate change, and bring forward their stories to inspire and encourage many. A net-zero future is possible. That’s why we’re hosting this gathering for politicians, business leaders, policy makers, scientists, indigenous leaders, artists, philanthropists, youth activists and others to organize and work together to make that future a reality.

  • Aarav Seth

    A 14-year-old student activist and co-founder of the We Rise Together Foundation residing in Ghaziabad, India. An advocate for climate action and have taken several steps for the betterment of society through awareness and action. He has planted 4500 trees to date and also participate in many cleanup drives. He has also given 5000+ compostable sanitary pads to deprived women and donated 1500+ books to underprivileged children. Awardee of National Water Hero Award in the month of June, by Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India. Started his green journey at the age of 8.

  • Aniket Gupta

    Aniket Gupta (21) is a young social entrepreneur & engineering student at IIIT Delhi. He started his journey of changemaking at the age of 16 & is the founder of 'The Tale of Humankind', a youth-led organisation to enable, empower & inspire young people to lead change in communities. He was elected as an Ashoka Young Changemaker in 2021 & was awarded Diana Award 2020. He also serves as a global youth ambassador of TheirWorld, a charity working for children's education.

  • Gaurang Bhati

    Gaurang Singh Bhati, a third-year law student at Delhi Metropolitan Education. He is currently the Student President of TATVA, DME's eco club. He belongs to Kota, Rajasthan and has spent his childhood exploring the flora and fauna of the city on photography and nature explorations with his father. He got his calling to work for the environment there only. He has great interests in dance, music and basketball also. He describes himself as a small-town boy writing his own story in a big city.

  • Jacob Cherian

    "Jacob runs TerreGeneration.com, a content and events team committed to impact. TerreGeneration's clients work directly with over 50 million people, in major Indian cities and over 50,000 villages spread across more than half the districts in India. This includes over 700,000 farmers, and Commons of over 11.5 million acres. The team's work gained attention initially by making clean-ups, tree-planting drives fun, ""fashionable"" and scalable using content and PR. In 24 months this content strategist rallied many 1000s of volunteers to plant over 10,000 trees, and clean up over 50 sites across 10 cities, filling over 250 trucks with misplaced waste. A national newspaper named him as one of India’s 5 notable ""grassroots environmentalists"" of 2020, and a magazine with nation-wide circulation named him as one of the 6 ""trend-setting Indians"" in the environment & health space in 2018. "

  • Jasmeet Kaur

    "Jasmeet Kaur is an M.Tech in Biotechnology with keen interest in working for the environment and to uplift the underprivileged communities with socially impactful initiatives. After gaining experience in different sectors including Healthcare and Academics, she finally started to pursue her dissertation project of post-graduation of 'Biodegradation of Plastics' as a full-time project and formed XAPER Waste Solutions Pvt Ltd with Mr. Ajay Palta and Govind Palta. XAPER Waste Solutions is a technology-driven social enterprise building machines and solutions for managing the menace of solid waste to reduce the carbon footprint. She represented XAPER at Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2019 in the Hague Netherlands. She is leading and operating multiple projects with Govt authorities for zero-waste projects under Waste to Wealth Mission.

  • Paras Arora

    "Paras’s passion is creating and building mission driven businesses. He sees circular economy and modern business as the fulcrum of how landscapes would be shaped for the future. As a driven and tireless individual he believes that values and compelling vision coupled with relentless execution will lead to overall achievement and happiness. Under 3R Management, he is instrumental in bringing technology and process innovation in managing anything what others call a 'waste' and making sure that clients get most stable and sustainable solution.. In addition to being a serial entrepreneur and currently the Co-Founder & CEO of 3RM, Paras serves as an advisor to sustainable policy building for companies looking to emerge in the mega universe of Circular Economy."

    After working for more than 8 years in prominent English news channels like CNN-IBN & India Today, Prerna chose the path of entrepreneurship. Combining her love for travel and vision to create an environmental impact, she started Ecoplore. She spent the first 2 years in ground research by visiting different eco-friendly hotels and understanding the real meaning of sustainable tourism. She aims to invest all her income generated from Ecoplore in developing a forest and returning it back to nature

  • Puneet Dutta

    Developed and successfully launched multiple products to make Social, Economic and Sustainability Impact “LOCAL TO VOCAL TO GLOBAL”. International Leadership Recruitment Consultant Turned Social Ecopreneur and Agripreneur with 24 years of global experience in sales and Human Resources. Got triggered by bad impacts of climate change Left Corporate Job and started ATTAWARE to provide real time measurable solutions to following challenges.

  • Ramveer Tanwar

    A much-celebrated Environmentalist and TEDx Speaker, based in Greater Noida has been passionate about water conservation since his student life. He started his campaign called Jal Chaupal in Gautam Budhha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh; urged people to conserve water and to save natural resources like ponds, lakes & Wetlands. He got trained by The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), MOEF, and Govt. of India. Presently Mr. Tanwar is the founder of Say Earth NGO. He has been praised by Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in Mann Ki Baat and facilitated two times by Honorable Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh Shri Yogi Adityanath. He has been declared as recent Brand Ambassador of Swachh Bharat Mission, Ghaziabad and appointed district coordinator of the Bhujal-Sena (Groundwater Force)' by Government of Uttar Pradesh
