LENS

Took placeAugust 21, 2021
LocationChengdu, Sichuan, China
FormatUniversity
The event's theme is LENS. The English explanation of LENS is “a piece of glass or other transparent substance with curved sides for concentrating or dispersing light rays". Here, we site the English meaning as a simile where TEDxUESTC acts as a lens to concentrating the valuable thinking of speakers and students. In Chinese explanation, everyone is looking and observing the world in different ways. Therefore, "LENS" here means "seek and discovery". Chengdu is a city full of diversified culture and inclusiveness. Here are a number of energetic people fighting for their dreams. College students are one typical type of these passionate people, who will meet all kinds of difficulties. We hope to invite some of the guests to share their discoveries and stories to guide or encourage students in UESTC.
