“Dear Society” is an attempt to bridge the gap between oneself and their surroundings. ‘Who am I?’ and ‘Do I fit in?’ are two thoughts that every young adult must have mulled over. As creatives, there is also a constant struggle between the “need to do something” and the pressure of not living up to the expectations of the society. The idea is to help the audience resonate with each other through the stories shared, and to walk together on the journey of coming in touch with one's own identity. The stage intends to redefine contours by eliminating stigmas, defying norms and bringing out conversations on inclusivity and acceptance. To extend the same inclusivity into the field of design, the event also provides a space to share unconventional and innovative ideas from modest origins. The goal is to weave together self-discovery and inspiration to ultimately work towards the collective benefit of the society.
