TEDxTreichville

(RE)SOURCES. TEDxTreichville’s 2021 edition will be centered around this theme. We have chosen it because it can be read in multiple ways. Resources are abundant in Africa. However, we rarely are capable of retaining them and transforming them ourselves. The transformation and the creation of local value is the source upon which our future depends. It is the starting point towards the evolution and the unification of our continent. The prefix ”re” states the action that needs to be led to make ends meet. We need to review our current approach, we need to reorient our resources locally and we need to rebound by reinventing ourselves. The question we are asking is the following: What is the way to go to retain and transform our resources locally? In Ivory Coast and across many other African regions, this question repeats itself like the waves that eat up our shores each year. Opposite those waves stands an innovative generation, with visions of triumph swirling in their minds, fighting for an Africa that will break down the doors that are shut in its way. Our speakers belong to this Africa. They will share with you their stories, their knowledge and their ideas in hopes that you can find out how you can use your resources to create value.
