Bhavna Nagar
Psychologist
Bhavna was born, raised, and educated as a clinical psychologist in South Africa. She moved to New Zealand in January 2008 looking for a change. Her journey with mindfulness started in 2005. Since 2009, she has incorporated mindfulness into her clinical practice, in this way, giving her clients the best of both worlds - psychological and mindfulness tools. In 2012 she started her own business, Alive! Psychology, duly named because of her passion for life. She believes that life needs to be experienced fully. Through therapy and mindfulness, she discovered her passion for life and discovered the ability to live life fully with all it has to offer - the good and the bad. Her journey has inspired her to create the Self-Love Approach, supporting clients to transform their lives from existing to being ALIVE. Bhavna leads corporate mindfulness training. She also co-facilitates four-day mindfulness retreats that have helped to transform people's lives.
