He has consulted with over 200 schools, businesses and Premiership footballers as well as members of Team GB on how to use psychological research to improve learning, performance and resilience.

  • David Cameron

David Cameron is very old and has done a lot of stuff, mainly in education. He once did a TEDx in Buenos Aires so moving on to a TEDx in Clackmannanshire seemed like a very logical step up for him. He craved the exotica of Tullibody and he wants to end the day by challenging our advocacy of resilience and encourage resistance. In his words, what we cope with, we don’t change and maybe we should.

  • Gavin Oattes

His first book on Practitioner Enquiry was published by Routledge in January 2018, and he has continued to write for TESS, and other educational publications and websites. George now works with Connect Scotland delivering sessions for them around parental engagement. George still works with schools and local authorities, both here in Scotland and elsewhere, particularly with practitioner enquiry, leadership and professional learning. George believe deeply in meaningful collaboration, and knows we have lots to celebrate and be proud of in Scottish education.

  • Graham Goulden

Graham spent 30 years as a Police Officer. The last 10 years he was a Chief Inspector with the Scottish Violence Reduction Unit (VRU). During these last years he introduced the idea of the bystander into Scottish schools. Graham believes that boys and men possess and share a range of healthy values. He doesn’t believe in simply having to educate individuals. For him, its more about inviting boys and men in conversations that make the ‘invisible visible’. Graham is a passionate advocate for boys and men. His work has identified a number of challenges that boys and men face. Graham simply wants to help boys be the men they, and men be the dads, husbands and partners they want to be.
