The theme “Shattering the Glass Ceiling” set the tone for an event that celebrated courage, resilience, and the power of breaking barriers. It encouraged students, educators, and members of the Army Public Schools' community to challenge limitations whether social, professional, personal, or cultural and to reimagine what was possible for themselves and others. The idea was not just about overcoming obstacles, but about redefining mindsets and inspiring action. Held on 24th October 2019 at Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, the event brought together 100 distinguished guests and was simultaneously live-streamed to 137 Army Schools across India and the Western Command of the Indian Army - making it the first TEDx event ever hosted by an Army School in India. The atmosphere was electric, filled with thoughtful conversations, powerful storytelling, and ideas that sparked reflection long after the talks concluded. Each session revolved around the central theme, with speakers sharing experiences of perseverance, innovation, and leadership. The discussions highlighted stories of individuals who had challenged conventions, confronted stereotypes, and carved new paths in their respective fields. The event created a space where students could see real-life examples of determination and ambition, encouraging them to pursue their goals without being confined by invisible barriers. Curated and organized by Anubhav Raghav, the event was driven by his vision to provide the school community with a platform to share ideas worth spreading, amplify student voices, and foster meaningful connections across campus. “Shattering the Glass Ceiling” was more than a theme - it became a movement within the school community, inspiring young minds to think boldly, speak confidently, and aspire fearlessly.
