With this theme we approach the idea of our TEDx event as a metaphor of movement and social change; using a solar airplane, a bicycle fueled by smiles, a magic carpet or a time machine... whatever moves you! This capacity of moving always one step ahead to switch paradigms is the key for improvement and development. The ability to face our reality from a different perspective is the first step to expand our horizons, to communicate better in a more united and better connected world. Historically we could find this impulse in explorers, inventors and navigators, as the eager to reach the unknown was what pushed them to encounter solutions, new lands and cultures from around the world. Yet travel is an integral part of the search for new opportunities, breaking new grounds and discovery the diversity of our planet. To identify these experiences of expanding horizons as a source of creative energy and inspiration to build a better world is the aim of our TEDx event.
