TEDxUniversityofBolton Salon is a series of TED-like events occurring throughout the year. The TEDxSalon is a combination of TED-like talks and interactive spaces to spark informal discussions. TEDxUniversityofBolton Salon event resembles the TEDxUniversityofBolton main event in regards to the quality and form, however, it focuses more on the discussion, and has a more narrow focus.

  • Jack Whitehead

    Jack Whitehead is a former President of the British Educational Research Association and Distinguished Scholar in Residence at Westminster College, Utah. He is a Visiting Professor at Ningxia University in China. He is a Visiting Professor of Education at the University of Cumbria. His original contributions to educational knowledge have focused on the explanations of individuals for their educational influences in learning in enquiries of the kind, ‘How do I improve what I am doing?’ These contributions can be accessed from his web-site at www.actionresearch.net. He advocates the use of living-posters in developing participatory research programmes.

  • Professor Jerome Carson

    Jerome Carson BA (Hons), MSc., PhD, C.Psychol is Professor of Psychology at the University of Bolton. Jerome previously worked at the world renowned Institute of Psychiatry and the Maudsley Hospital, where he was a senior lecturer in clinical psychology. Jerome’s main research interests are in the fields of occupational stress, recovery from mental health problems and Positive Psychology. He has published over 200 book chapters and journal papers. Jerome has lectured all over the world.
