• Alexandra Tilman

  we have a poet bringing her talents to the mic today at TEDxDili. Originally from Maubisse-Ainaro, Alexandra Tilman - a poet, writer, and teacher who was awarded the best power poetry in Australia in 2008 at the South East Asia Poet Literature conference.

• Jeremy Beckett

  An Australian doctor who has lived in Timor-Leste since 2016, working in health and development. Having worked as Medical Director of Bairo Pite Clinic, he is now Director of Maluk Timor, a local NGO committed to quality improvement in health care.

• Natalino Ornai Guterres

  Natalino Ornai Guterres has founded several youth movements including MAC - Crianças Unidas and Hatutan. He organized the first Pride March in Timor in 2017 and is committed to creating a nation that is inclusive for the LGBT community.

• Teresa Pereira Cunha

  With a postgraduate degree in 'Scientific Illustration’, she began her doctoral thesis in 2015 at the University of Aveiro, with the theme ‘Communicating Timorese medicinal knowledge through scientific illustration'. She currently lives in Timor-Leste where she teaches biology and develops her research on the ancestral knowledge of Timorese in the use of plants for medicinal purposes.

• Xisto Silva

  A multi-talented Timorese artist who has become one of the most sought after artists in Timor. His many talents include art, miming, painting and sculpting. Xisto has performed his art locally and internationally. He is continuously evolving and enhancing his art and is a deep believer in human potential.
