Since its inception more than 70 years ago, Kaiser Permanente has also been known as a leader in groundbreaking ideas and innovation. “That’s why KP and TED are teaming up,” said Patrick T. Courneya, MD, executive vice president and chief medical officer, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Hospitals and executive sponsor. “We wanted to find an exciting way to share some of our remarkable stories across the organization, and decided that hosting a TEDx event would help accomplish our goal.”
