• Subtilu-Z

  For the last 10 years, these four guys have been telling unusual musical stories. Stories, which are gathered from all corners of the world, where all the listeners and performers become story characters, living unexpected scenarios. Laurynas Vaitkus (playing tenor reed), Povilas Velikis (accordion), Dmitrijs Mihailovs (accordion) and Vytautas Švažas (percussion) experiment with unheard sounds as well as with popular songs in order to surprise, explore and express themselves and others around.

• Angelos Chronis

  Angelos’ main research interest lies in the integration of simulation, optimization and performance drive in the design and fabrication process with a deeper expertise in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) but he has worked across many fields including virtual & augmented reality, interactive installations, 3D scanning, spatial analysis and parametric design. Angelos is a PhD Marie Curie Fellow at the Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia in Barcelona, as a member of the Innochain network. He teaches at IAAC and at the Bartlett School of Architecture of University College London. Previously he has been working as an Associate for the Applied Research + Development group at Foster + Partners. He holds a diploma of Architecture from the University of Patras, Greece and an MSc in Adaptive Architecture & Computation from the Bartlett School of Graduate Studies, UCL. He is a registered Architect both in Greece and in the UK.

• Colin Powell

  Born in the United States, Colin has grown as a third culture kid. He has lived in nine countries so far and appreciates how his experiences abroad have developed his adaptability, flexibility and commitment to knowing different people. Colin has been teaching for the last 12 years and has become interested in school leadership. He is now the Assistant Principal/PYP Coordinator at Vilnius International School and his interest and enthusiasm focus on building dynamic learning communities based on the idea that what we expect from children we must also expect from adults. This means that schools must embrace repeated models of learning.

• David Palhazi

  David Pálházi works as a project manager and as an official soul-supporter in a startup called SignAll Technologies. With his colleagues they set themselves the goal to make the world more accessible and more livable for deaf, open the gates for deaf through a sign language translator. During the work David finds out more and more space, where technology and accumulated knowledge should create great things for deaf people. One of the biggest area is education. David began his university studies at Budapest University Of Technology and Economics studying Engineering Management, Environmental Management specialization. He finished Master's degree in University of West Hungary, graduating from Agricultural Engineering in Environment. In education David focused on management approach, livable environment and people management.

• Harry McCann

  Harry is an 18-year-old entrepreneur from Kildare, Ireland. At the age of 15, he founded his first business - Kid Tech. Over the space of sixteen months, he went on to teach over 800 kids to code all around Ireland. In 2014 he founded the first Digital Youth Council in the World, which he is currently Director of and since 2013 has been working with government and industry to make sure young people are influencing the future of the STEM sector in Ireland and Europe. Harry has spent the last two years working on several startup ideas and taking on advisory/board roles in the Irish government, and some of the biggest multinational businesses in the World. His most recent business venture is Trendsterpress.com which he founded in January 2016, and it is currently one of his main focus.

• Marius Narvilas

  Marius Narvilas is a technology teacher in Vilnius Jesuit High School and a board member of the Association of Technology teachers in Lithuania. He is also a lecturer in the Education center of Vilnius Academy of Arts. Recently Marius has been awarded as the most innovative art and technology teacher of the year in Lithuania. He is also the co-author of five Technology textbooks and methodological recommendations.

• Marjo Kyllonen

  Dr Marjo Kyllönen is the acting head of basic education division in the city of Helsinki. She is responsible for the basic education services for approx. 38 000 pupils in the whole city. She holds a PhD in Education and has a degree in primary and early childhood education and has worked as a pre and primary school teacher before her appointment to administrative work 2001. She has also been appointed to various committees on national level among other issues national core curriculum work, pupils welfare, pupils assessment. On city level she’s in the lead for curriculum renewal and implementing the Future School concept in Helsinki.

• Teresa Lamb

  Teresa Lamb is a designer, technologist, and crafter living in Brooklyn, NY. Her work focuses on the intersection of craft and emerging technology through wearables and soft circuitry. She is passionate about designing and developing the future of tactile interfaces while preserving traditional techniques. Teresa graduated with her master’s degree from Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University in Spring of 2016. Her thesis project, Cyberknitics — a wearable that generates music from the rhythm of knitting — seeks to answer the question, “will cyborgs knit?”.
