  • Anna Gorvits

    Anna is a Russian photographer and published poet who currently lives in Paris. Her involvement in youth camps inspired her speech, in which she discusses the value and adversity of limits in our everyday life.

  • Joseph Hilditch

    Joseph Hilditch is a junior at the Anglo-American School of Moscow. A young man with an interest in global affairs and international politics, in his speech Joseph addresses some common misconceptions about atheism, some of which he has had to confront first-hand.

  • Joseph Khan

    Dr. Joseph Khan is an IB Math teacher at the Anglo-American School of Moscow, but is also well-known in the community as a wise grandfather with a love of story-telling. Through this story, Mr. Khan attempts to enlighten the youth of today, to spur them to make smart decisions that will positively impact the world we live in.

    Ms. De Pury is a journalist stationed in Russia for the Associated Press who focuses her speech on the importance of media in the portrayal of current events. She helps the audience distinguish between trustworthy and trustworthy news.

    Drama has been an integral part of Ronan's life since his early years. As an actor and production director, Ronan focuses speech on theatre and its impact in our everyday life.

  • Ziad Ahmed

    Ziad Ahmed is a 17-year old activist from Princeton, New Jersey. Ziad has founded numerous organizations, including Redefy - a non-profit organization that has won multiple awards. Through his work, Ziad strives to initiate a positive change in the world and fight against the ignorance surrounding his culture as a Muslim as well as other misconceptions about minorities. He has appeared on TV shows, dined with President Obama and Secretary Clinton at the White House, and interviewed by well-known media sources such as MTV and CNN. His talk describes the importance of hard work and creative, forward thinking in reaching a given goal and impacting the world we live in.
