Centenary events across Ireland have reflected on and commemorated what has taken place in Irish history over the last 100 years and how Ireland has evolved into today's dynamic, modern state. As a young, innovative institution, Dublin City University has its focus firmly trained on the future of this country. Through its teaching, learning, research and innovation agenda, DCU seeks to transform lives and societies, at home and abroad. TEDxDCU Imagining the Next Century projects into the future, exploring how the university, education, research, media, the arts and the next generation can shape an even better future for Irish citizens to come, making this world a better pace in which to live well. The globally-recognised TEDx platform allows the community and friends of DCU share their insights on the future of our young nation.
