• Andrew Skotnicki

  Professor at Manhattan College + Author

  Andrew Skotnicki is a professor in the Religious Studies Department at Manhattan College in New York City. He is the author of Religion and the Development of the American Penal System, Criminal Justice and the Catholic Church, The Last Judgment: Christian Ethics in a Legal Culture, and numerous articles on the theological and ethical implications of criminal justice. He is also the founder and director of Engaging, Educating, and Empowering Means Change (E3MC), a partnership between Manhattan College and the New York City of Department of Corrections, in which men and women incarcerated in the jail complex on Rikers Island take an accredited college course with Manhattan College students. Upon successful completion of the course, the incarcerated students are given the opportunity to continue, and hopefully complete, their college education at our main campus upon release from confinement.

  Entrepreneur + Chief Executive Officer

  Ashkán Zandieh is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Falkon, the leading platform to discover properties and the people behind them. He is an entrepreneur, speaker, and sociological market researcher in commercial real estate. His research focuses on the social and technological innovation of the built environment. His research and company has been featured and published in Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, Business Insider, and TechCrunch.

• Brian Beaulieu

  Senior Sales Representative + Family Man

  Brian has spent the past 18 years as a Sales Representative for Olympus Surgical America, which provides world class Medical Products for Minimally Invasive Surgery. His position takes him into the Operating Room where he provides education and direction for surgical products, real time during surgery. He has been married to his wife Tracey for 25 years and has a son, Christian and daughter Jacquelyn. Brian enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, boating, motorcycling and photography.

• Carolyn Predmore

  Professor at Manhattan College + Author

  Carolyn E. Predmore, Ph.D. is a Professor of Marketing. She is an active member in the American Marketing Association and Association for Consumer Research. Her research interests cover entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity perceptions of ethical issues by business students, retailing and terrorism, salesmanship, Internet usage and retailing on both a national and international basis. She has published in the e-learning Digest, Management Decisions, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of the Association of Marketing Educators as well as having written chapters on entrepreneurship and social media.

• Jeffery Rappaport

  Professor + Geo-Scientist

  Jeffrey Rappaport is a life-long geo-science educator whom specializes in dynamic teaching, innovative lab techniques, integrated computer technology strategies, and astrophotography imaging. Professor Rappaport possesses a B.A in Geology from Earlham College as well as earned his Masters in Earth & Environmental Science from Columbia University. Out of the classroom he’s a Lieutenant at the Palisade Boat Club with interests in sea kayaking, downhill skiing, power ice skating, bicycling, and hiking.

• Kim Breden

  Musician + Entrepreneur + Volunteer

  Kim Breden is the Chief Executive Muse of Be Mused Productions which specializes in educational entertainment including musical theatre workshops for children, music programs and concerts for museums, libraries and senior residences in the tri-state area. Kim has volunteered for the past 9 years with Rehabilitation Through the Arts (RTA), dedicated to using the creative arts as a tool for social and cognitive transformation behind prison walls. Most recently she directed and musical directed “The Wizard of Oz” at Sing Sing, a maximum security correctional facility in New York. Prior to establishing Be Mused Productions, Kim's singing career took her around the globe, performing in Hamburg, Leipzig and Dresden, Germany and Bloemfontein and Durban, South Africa and throughout the United States. Kim holds Bachelor degrees in Music Education and Voice from the University of South Carolina. She did Masters’ training in music therapy at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where she

• Lois Harr

  Professor + Community Organizer

  Lois Harr has worked at Manhattan College since 1998 where she serves as the Director of Campus Ministry & Social Action. Recently she was appointed an Assistant Vice President in the Student Life Division. In addition to her administrative duties at the College, Lois teaches a course in Religious Studies. Her husband, John Reilly, and their two grown daughters are all Jaspers - proud graduates of Manhattan College. Finally Lois Is proud to say that she is a life long resident of the Bronx.

• ​River Castelonia

  Student + Enerepreneur

  River Castelonia currently studies mechanical engineering at Manhattan College specializing in NX Unigraphics modeling and particle physics. After working on Nobel Prize winning research at Brookhaven National Laboratory, he began his undergraduate in engineering. During his first academic year at Manhattan College, he began working for Tesla Motors Inc. in their sales division to develop skills in both marketing and business. Combining both his technical and business background, he helped to co-found Havenlabs, a non-profit that designs custom 3D printed prosthetics for disabled veterans in the New York area.
