• Jigme Zangmo

  I am Jigme Zangmo and I am fifteen years old. I currently study in 11th grade in Mothithang Higher Secondary School. I love to sing and play my guitar you can say music is my life. I love to watch football (Barcelona and Arsenal are my favorite). I can play lawn tennis and I love to read and write poems. I like to socialize with people and help others. Basically I love to put a smile on every ones faces.

• Premika Ghalley

  My name is Premika Ghalley and I am 16 years old. I study in Yangchenphug Higher Secondary School in grade 12. I like to sketch, sing and talk a lot. I am not much of a reader with the exception of manga (Japanese comic) and like to watch anime movies. I like Hollywood movies and particularly enjoy songs by Talor Swift, Sam Smith and Sia. I also like being on social networking sites, which seems rather mainstream but is fun. My greatest achievement would be living with my parents and having a lot of friends who recognize me not by my looks but as someone who they can open their hearts to. Some of my goals in life are to take my parents to Venice, to be able to dunk like the NBA stars, take selfies with my favorite stars like Tom Cruise, Chaning Tatum and marry K-POP star Chanyeol. But keeping these aside I look at life one step at a time and try to be me because I believe that the best kind of personality shines off when one is in their truest form.

• Tim Huang

  As a youth advocate who has worked in Bhutan, South Africa, and the United States. Tim believes that educational equity and youth empowerment are essential for creating a more just and sustainable world. Originally from California, he is recent graduate of Stanford University and is excited to be back in Bhutan for his third time in the last four years. In his free time, Tim enjoys meditating, playing the ukulee, hiking with friends, salsa dancing and doing random acts of kindness.

• Sherab Lhamo

  Someone once said, "there's no one as awesome as I am." That person's me I'm just kidding. I'm as human as everyone else, although many people claim I'm one who came from the stars, i.e. I am an alien. Anyways, hello, bonjour, annyeong, namaste and all the other greetings of the world. I'm 14years old Sherab Lhamo. I am a very ambiguous person; it will take all your life to piece me out. Like Ernest Hemmingway said "There's no friend as loyal as a book". One of my most loyal friends is my book. I'll read anything as long as it is interesting. My dream is to be a pediatrician and after years of loyal dedicated service, be the Prime Minister! I'm kidding again. I just want to live a happy and content life.

• Sonam Yangden

  Born in the year 1994 in Southern Bhutan. Her father is from the West, and her mother is from the East, and now she lives in the North, in the capital Thimphu. After high school, she took a gap year to explore. She volunteered in many Youth Organizations, contributing ideas and bringing her joyful energetic spirit to initiate various projects. She also has a profound interest in media; currently she has a TV Talk Show and is a Radio Jockey. Her ever-growing love for tomatoes and curiosity for learning combined with the support from her family and friends, she is no designing her very own "Education unplan".

• Tenzin Lhaden

  My name is Tenzin Lhaden. After 15 years of being alive, I discovered that my real interest is music and making movies. Other than those things, I am interested in science, cooking, playing basketball and badminton, and about reading books, I am not a bookworm but I love to read. About my dreams, my dream is to be a musician, an animated moviemaker, contribute in science and lastly but not the least, I want to keep everybody happy.

• Ngawang Gyeltshen

  Ngawang Gyeltshen is a high school graduate from Thimphu, Bhutan. Born on August 17th, 1996. He grew up devoting most of his time on painting, poetry, scripture and other schorlarly pursuits. He was the president of Bhutan's first high school student union with a constitution. He is currently working on his debut novel to start his writing career.
