• Angie Lau

  Angie Lau is an anchor for Bloomberg TV. Angie hosts First Up, which begins live daily coverage out of Asia, leading viewers into the start of the business day. With more than 16 years’ experience, she has also received the Excellence in Journalism Award for Investigative Reporting.

• Anson Chan

  Former Chief Secretary, Hong Kong S.A.R. Government. Anson Chan was the first woman and the first ethnically Chinese person to hold the second-highest governmental position in Hong Kong, and the person most identified by international media as the post-handover "conscience of Hong Kong".

• Archana Kotecha

  Anti-Slavery Activist. After seven years as a corporate lawyer, Archana Kotecha shifted her efforts to combating human rights violations. Having worked at the UN Refugee Agency's Legal Protection Team, the Immigration Advisory Service and Stop Trafficking UK in London, Archana joined Liberty Asia in Hong Kong, where she has produced a Hong Kong-focused Victim Identification Toolkit/ NGO training and lobbyied at the Legislative Council level.

• Jo Farell

  "Living History" Photographer. Jo Farrell is an award-winning black-and-white photographer and cultural anthropologist. Currently based in Hong Kong, Jo was most recently recognised for her project documenting some of the last remaining women in China with bound feet.

• Kate March

  Performance Artist/Director. Kate March is the Creative Director and Founder of I AM, an innovative production company based in Hong Kong. Her work has been described as immersive, avant-garde dinner theatre with "viscerally provoking" stunning concept pieces.

• Laurel Chor

  Explorer and Wildlife Conservationist. Laurel Chor is the Founder of the Hong Kong Explorers Initiative and was previously named a National Geographic Young Explorer and an ambassador for the Jane Goodall Institute HK. Through her organisation, Laurel devotes her time to encouraging people to explore the outdoors and raising awareness and appreciation of wildlife.

• Leonie Valentine

  Leonie Valentine is Google's Director for SMB Customer Experience in APAC. She is a member of The Women's Foundation's technology and women on boards committees and was previously a mentor steering committee member for TWF's Mentoring Program for Women Leaders. She is also a board member for HandsOn Hong Kong.

• Lori Granito

  Serial Entrepreneur & Culinary Innovator. Lori Granito is the founder of Hong Kong's first culinary incubator for food entrepreneurs, Kitchen Sync. She is the owner of Go Gourmet Catering, the award-winning private kitchen Magnolia, and co-owner of the Mexican restaurants, Little Burro. She was previously named Entrepreneur of the Year by Skal Hong Kong.

• Matt Friedman

  Human Trafficking Expert. After encountering first-hand trafficked victims on the streets of Nepal as a public health officer, Matt Friedman dedicated the next 25 years to anti-trafficking activism and fundraising. He is the author of nine books and is highly regarded as one of the leading experts in global anti-slavery efforts.

• Meaghan McGurgan

  Art Critic and Creative Director. Meaghan McGurgan is an award-winning theatre director and designer originally from the Atlanta Metro area. She is currently the editor of hkeld.com, Hong Kong's number one art blog and the Artistic Director of Shakespeare in the Port, Hong Kong's outdoor Shakespeare festival. Her mission is to prove that Hong Kong is not a cultural desert and that art should be accessible for everyone.

• Su-Mei Thompson

  CEO, The Women's Foundation. Su-Mei Thompson is the CEO of the non-profit Women’s Foundation. Originally a corporate financial lawyer, she built up a career at companies including Disney, Financial Times and Christie’s before moving to head the NGO in 2009.

• Valerie Inertie

  Circus Artist and Cyr-Wheel Dance Pioneer Valérie is a circus artist and Cyr-Wheel Dance Pioneer. She has worked as a coordinator for Cirque du Monde and as a gymnastics coach and fitness trainer in sport clubs. Taking part in social circus projects in Burkina Faso, Haiti, Brazil and Romania, she was able to cultivate her own personal style, and regularly performs in television appearances, theatres and circuses.

• Carol Reiley

  Surgical Roboticist Carol Reiley is an avid robotics fan, working on her Ph.D. in Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University. In her work, she has applied techniques from machine learning to computer vision, natural language processing and the field of biomedical engineering. Carol is the Founder of Tinkerbelle Labs, which focuses on designing affordable healthcare, do-it-yourself robotics.
