Alex is a sophomore in electronics at BCIT. She plans on becoming an electrical engineer. She wants to be a pioneer in her religion. Her talk is about breaking stereotypes.

Senam is a senior in health occupations. She plans on continuing her education to become a pediatric RN. Her talk is about beauty standards and their affect on society.
Dante Foggy
Dante, a senior, is attending Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island to finish his training in Culinary Arts. Last year, Dante won the Food Network's Teen Chopped Tournament. His talk examines the challenges that young people in America face.
Valerie Montrose
Valerie is a junior in marketing. Her goals is to become an urban and regional city planner. She plans to attend Cornell University to complete her education and wishes to use her knowledge to empower and organize disenfranchised communities in Africa. Her talk is on the power that media has to influence peoples' thoughts and perceptions.
