Jagbir Gill

Dr. Jagbir Gill is a kidney transplant physician at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver and Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Nephrology at the University of British Columbia. He is a Michael Smith scholar and Research Scientist at the Centre for Health Evaluation and Outcomes Sciences and conducts health outcomes and policy research in organ donation and transplantation, with an emphasis on addressing disparities in access to transplantation and removing barriers to organ donation. He also serves on provincial, national, and international bodies to advance transplantation policy as Medical Director of Data and Quality for BC Transplant, Vice President of the Canadian Organ Replacement Register, a councillor for the Declaration of Istanbul Custodian Group and Director with the Canadian Society of Transplantation Board of Directors.
