Bio
Gretta Cohn is the CEO of Pushkin Industries, the award winning podcast and audio book company founded by Malcolm Gladwell. Notable Pushkin podcasts include Revisionist History, Against the Rules and The Happiness Lab. Pushkin’s audiobooks include The Bomber Mafia, Wild and Precious Mary and Inside Voice by Lake Bell.
She was previously founder and CEO of Transmitter Media, a Peabody-nominated creative podcast company, which was acquired by Pushkin in 2022.
She has also been a producer for the well-loved Freakonomics Radio podcast and WNYC’s music show Soundcheck. She has taught radio/podcast production to graduate students in the Cultural Reporting and Criticism program at NYU. She's also a cellist and a former member of the bands Cursive and Bright Eyes.
