Dr. Edivandro is a thought-leader and a globally recognized expert in business agility, business transformation and strategy. Since 2007, Edivandro advises, coordinates and implements strategic projects and programs, working with senior leaders, executives and teams across different industry sectors. He is an international advisor, speaker and researcher, recognized for your work on organizational agility, project management, programs and portfolio, hybrid models management, strategy implementation and transformation. He has published several articles and contributed with six books. Some of his articles are among the most relevant in the world. From 2013 to 2015, Edivandro lived in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, where he worked as a Research Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Consortium for Engineering Program Excellence (CEPE). He was responsible for global projects on organizational agility, program management and systems engineering areas. He was also responsible for one of the most comprehensive global research about agility, and coordinated the research about integrating program management and systems engineering process and competences, which resulted in a book published globally by Wiley & Sons in 2017. Dr. Edivandro have already trained hundreds of professionals with his courses and workshops (open and in-company), in organizations from different industry sectors. He was a guest professor in MBAs and executive courses in Brazil and abroad, including the University of Fribourg in Switzerland, and Fundação Dom Cabral in Brazil. Currently, Edivandro is a MBA professor and teaches organizational agility, agile management, hybrid management models for some of the most important universities in South America. Edivandro received several awards and recognitions. He is the first Brazilian to receive international recognition for his work in agile project management and hybrid management models from three of the most important global institutions in project management, operations management and engineering – Project Management Institute Educational Foundation (PMIEF), James R. Snyder International Student Paper of the Year Award, International Project Management Association (IPMA), IPMA Young Researcher Award Honor, Production and Operations Management Society (POMS), Emerging Economies Young Researcher Award (EEYRA). Edivandro received an honorable mention from the University of Sao Paulo for his relevant contributions and his international recognition. Edivandro holds a Master’s degree and a PhD in Production Engineering, focusing on Agile Project Management and Innovation from the University of Sao Paulo, Sao Carlos Engineering Schools (USP-EESC). He attended a post-doctorate program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT-CEPE) where he developed his work on organizational agility. Edivandro also attended the executive program in disruptive technologies from Singularity University in Silicon Valley. He has co-authored management books and published more than 40 articles, some of them in world-renowned journals and business magazines, including MIT Sloan Management Review, London School of Economics Business Review, Rotman Management Magazine (Canada), Project Management Journal, International Journal of Project Management and Journal of Engineering and Technology Management, where his article about Hybrid Models for Project Management is one of the top five most downloaded since 2016.
