I am an actor, producer, director and award-winning filmmaker and editor. Originally from Flint, Michigan, I have lived and worked in many locations around the world; Los Angeles, New York, Miami, The Pacific Northwest and Jamaica, to name a few, working with directors like Stephen Chbosky, Kevin Smith and Andy Goddard. I was lucky enough to live in France for four years doing a radio show for English-speaking tourists and learned to cook up a storm. In 2012, I branched out to the production side, now also working as director, producer and editor for my production company, leapyear, inc., producing short films, documentaries, web series, commercials and corporate videos, winning Best Editor at Long Island International Film Expo, Best Web Series at Austin Revolution Film Festival plus a nomination for Best Series Director at Austin. Currently living in Mansfield, Ohio, I am excited to take on the role of Executive Producer of Mansfield's first Ted Event.

Acting, travel, learning about different cultures. Eating their foods, too. (Maybe most eating their foods!)

Here's one I learned raising my two kids to adulthood. Help them figure out what career path would be best for THEM, not because mom or dad like how it sounds or how much money might be earned. Rather, believe that if a person truly loves what they do, even on a bad day they won't be sorry for their choice.

I was approached by Tracy Graziani to Produce TEDxMansfield. Not only do I feel honored but also just the right amount of challenge. I have produced film and TV so a large live event is a bit intimidating but that makes the "stretch" all the more exciting.
