Bio

Brickson Diamond has dedicated his career and philanthropy to the cause of advancing opportunity and access for those who should have it, but do not. Brickson is a partner at Spencer Stuart focused on executive search and leadership advisory within the firm’s Technology, Media and Telecommunications and Education and Social Impact practices. He is a DEI advisor focused on commercializing DEI across regions, industries and functions. Immediately prior he was CEO of Big Answers, LLC., a human capital advisory firm working through a diversity and inclusion lens. Brickson previously served for five years as EVP, Chief Operating Officer of The Executive Leadership Council, Inc. (ELC), the preeminent membership organization of current and former Black board members, CEOs and senior executives at Fortune 1000/Global 500 companies. He began his career and spent 15 years at the Capital Group Companies, with his principal focus being selling to and supporting investment management consultants serving high net worth and institutional clients. Brickson is a co-founder and chair of the board of The Blackhouse Foundation. Founded in 2006, Blackhouse is renowned for expanding access to acquisition-focused film festivals and advancing the development of commercially viable careers across platforms for Black independent filmmakers and content creators. Brickson is also a member of the board of trustees of The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, Rideback Rise and serves as chair of the board of Tides. He serves as an advisor to VC Include, Smashcut and the investment firm, non sibi. Brickson is on the investment committee of the Annenberg Foundation Trust at Sunnylands. He is a graduate of Brown University and Harvard Business School.
