Writer, editor, journalist, painter, husband, dad and grandfather. Founding member of TEDxDayton and have been part of the leadership for it since 2013. Involved on numerous local boards connected to local history, the arts and hunger and food insecurity. Attended TEDfest in Brooklyn in 2018 -- a fabulous event!

Helped found TEDxDayton in 2013, and have been involved in the event as a leader and organizer ever since. Co-chaired speaker committee two years, co-chaired our main event four years. Serve currently as well on leadership committee that runs main TEDxDayton event, our youth event and salons. Also have served as a speaker coach and mentor. Attended TEDfest in Brooklyn, 2018.
