Bilal Randeree is an Online Producer for Al Jazeera, one of the world's most dynamic and interesting news platforms. He has worked on coverage of major news stories in the Middle East, using innovative and creative online solutions. Having started his career as Chartered Accountant, Bilal worked for KPMG in banking for three years, based out of Johannesburg, before moving to London with the company in 2007. As a freelance writer at the time, he covered the financial crises from the 'inside' for various websites and magazines. Following this experience, he returned to school and completed Post-Graduate studies in Economics & Business Journalism at Rhodes University in South Afirca. Together with his degree and experience in corporate, he landed a job with Al Jazeera as a Business Journalist. However, However, after moving to Doha he soon changed over to a general Online Producer. He writes for the Al Jazeera website, and updates and maintains their various social media and online platforms.
