About Christopher

Bio

From Berkeley originally, but my life has taken me, and hopefully will continue to take me, around the world. During college, I was selected as a STA World Traveler Intern, and completed an around the world trip blogging and making videos that encourage fellow students to travel the world and open their eyes to the international opportunities that await them beyond their shores. Thus far, I have traveled to over twenty countries and I am constantly scheming on how to see more. After graduating university as an Art History major with minors in Classics and Political Science, I was fortunate enough to attend TEDGlobal 2011 in Edinburgh. Since then I have moved to New York, and am currently developing a new venture in the Fashion industry.

I'm passionate about

Fashion, Travel, Art, Design, Literature, Food, Urban Development, Social Innovation, and the Los Angeles Lakers.

An idea worth spreading

Beyond economic and time constraints, how can we encourage more students to travel the world? The leaders of tomorrow will be those who think, act, and connect on a global scale. We must develop new programs that connect students across borders because international awareness is nothing short of a necessity for a 21st century education.Teachers must promote it, parents must encourage it, and employers must demand it. I believe education is intended to prepare students for life's challenges, and the greatest challenges we now face can only be overcome by acting globally.
