Bio
My name is Hema Rajan. I have been in the field of education for over twelve years. I am the IBDP Coordinator in Podar International School. I strongly believe that the millennials I meet each day in the course of my profession have strongly shaped my views and opinions and my personality too. I have learnt patience and fortitude from them and also have also learnt to appreciate the small pleasures in life.

An idea worth spreading
I have been a francophile and a teacher of French and TOK for over 12 years. The French love their culture and language and one has to learn and cultivate that love from them. Fewer and fewer youngsters know how to read and speak their Mother Tongue in this day and age. As a language teacher, I know that you can learn a foreign language better if you know your own Mother Tongue well. Language is living culture and a vibrant vehicle to transmit thoughts and feelings. Through TED Talks I hope we can do just that.
