Artist, Educator/Teacher, Student

I currently work as an English teacher at Danbury High School. I have worked her for more than a year and bring two years of full-time teaching experience with me from Queens, NY. Previously I studied Education at Queens College. My passion for education is preceded by an fascination with the theatre, which I pursued as an undergraduate student at Marymount Manhattan College in Manhattan. I use my love of the theatre as inspiration in the classroom and as the basis of my passion for learning and education.

Movies and all sorts of media, plays, and music. I am trying to get better at cooking, languages, and writing.

The beauty of speaking the words of classic playwrights in the context of young adult education. I have often felt that my most revolutionary and revelatory moments have been those when I have engaged in discussions and performances of great plays with other like-minded students and actors. I am a strong believer that the dialogue of playwrights like O'Neill, Williams, Miller, Chekov, Ibsen, and Strindberg have the ability to inspire young adults. Based on my experience with actors, directors, and professors delving into the language of great playwrights, I feel that many kids need this kind of experience.

My friend and colleague, TJ Altieri, asked for my help with his TEDx talk in Danbury and I really enjoyed it.
