Bio
I was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia, and moved to the United States to attend architecture school in upstate New York. After my freshman year, I was accepted to be a summer intern at the largest architectural firm in Japan. My experience during that time strengthened my desire to be an architect. During the Fall after completing my five-year accredited program, I had an internship with a boutique architectural firm in New York City before relocating to Washington, DC, for an opportunity to join a well-known firm.
After 17 years working on many types of project and won several design award, I have the confidence to start my own practice.
On a more personal note, I have been to many countries, and will continue to travel every year with my husband and two daughters to see the world and learn different culture. I believe it is important to expose yourself to new perspectives.

An idea worth spreading
Tolerance.

The TED story
Honestly I didn't know about TED until last year, when I saw a friend's posting on Facebook. Then I was intrigued to read about more interesting topics regarding design and architecture.
