My name is Rajiv Ratna Jha. I am a student of B.Tech, third year at INDIAN MARITIME UNIVERSITY, VISAKHAPATNAM CAMPUS. I am pursuing a graduation degree in naval architecture and ocean engineering. I am a also the chief editor of LEARN SHIP DESIGN, an online blog having published its inaugural edition of magazine (NAVISIEGER). I am the general secretary of INDIAN MARITIME UNIVERSITY STUDENTS SOCIETY.

I have a keen interest in ships. I am pursuing a graduation degree in naval architecture and ocean engineering. I am heavily inclined to fitness and think it is the most essential aspect of one's life. I intend to pursue a certification in nutrition science and personal training. One of my hobbies, creative writing, has led me to venture into and explore the orthodox field of shayari. I love playing sports and I have a keen interest in playing cricket. I find myself a multi dimensional person and realise the importance of this multi dimensional aspect. I also like to tell people how to connect aspects in life. And that is what I aim to achieve by organising a ted event.

I intend to cover all the ideas under the common theme of "ONTOGENESIS". I aim to make people realize how life is not about one aspect but is multi-dimensional. And if these ideas are conveyed by the giants of their fields, people will be COMPELLED TO THINK. I want to ignite the thought process of connecting the dots. Better educated audience would always have a better probability of tackling situations as it must be tackled.

The inaugural TEDx event at IMU Visakhapatnam capus was held in October, 2017, with a theme 'WIDENING VIEWPOINTS'. The speakers were very crisp in their talks and delivered their subjects elegantly. As I was a team member of the organizing team, I had the opportunity of interacting with the speakers through correspondence which further honed my professional correspondence skills. I also had the opportunity to interact with the speakers personally on the event day which further widened my perspectives.

I have used my understanding of fitness to pursue bodybuilding as a hobby. I intend to compete in my first bodybuilding competition in the year 2021. I have a keen interest in exploring the orthodox art of shayari recitation and like writing shayari. I have a published poetry on YouTube.
