Bio
I’m a father, husband and craftsperson who loves creative technology and building experiences.
With over 20 years of VFX and animation production experience I now spend my time at our creative studio, peregrine*, where great ideas, art and technology can thrive.
Over the course of my career I have been lucky to have worked on the the Oscar winning projects Lord of the Rings and Avatar while collaborating with such directors as Peter Jackson, James Cameron and the brilliant Terry Gilliam. In 2014 I had the honour of receiving a SciTech award for Deep Compositing from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
More recently I’ve overseen the development of a new project focused on re-imagining education via a Creative Learning Lab and our first Discovery Centre, a new environment for exploration, learning and play.
