Originally from Johannesburg, I've spent virtually my entire career promoting the interests of – and opportunities in – South Africa. My background is largely foreign policy-focused and now after a four year stint in London I'm headed back home to Jozi to set up what3words in South Africa. I'm a huge geography geek and like nothing better than studying a map and understanding why and how borders were drawn. I want to learn where you're from and how it moulded you into who you are today.

Social impact; technology; Africans writing our own story.

4 billion people in the world don't have a proper address. They can't register to vote, send their kids to school, or receive basic government services. Imagine how their world could change if we had a universal system, used globally and recognised by all governments, to break down a barrier to prosperity that sees half the world's population excluded from economic activity.
