Jonathan Simon

Jonathan Simon is an interaction designer, engineer, and author focused on producing software user interfaces that improve our lives. Jonathan has designed and built systems ranging from Wall Street trading applications and mobile commerce applications to web based collaborative community systems. Jonathan is currently focusing piloting a number of mobile commerce initiatives at Qualcomm. On the author front, Jonathan is currently writing Head First Android Development, part of O'Reilly's wonderful graphical-learning Head First series. An avid percussionist and composer, Jonathan continues to perform and record music. When not working on technology or music, Jonathan likely spending time with my paleo-molecular-bio-inorganic-geo-chemical oceanographer wife Dr. Felisa Wolfe-Simon and our two lab-shepard mutts, Billie and Ella (bonus points if you can figure out the origins of their names). Otherwise, odds are he's putting some milage on or building a bike. He may also be perfecting the perfect espresso extraction, you never know.
