I'm covering TEDActive Palm Springs as a member of the press. This is my third time attending an actual conference but I've known about TED since the 1990's and have watched a number of TEDTalks online over the years. I've interviewed attendees and presenters over the years in my various capacities on the radio. While I'm "working" TEDActive interviewing folks and writing news stories I'm keeping an open mind because that's what it's all about, right?

Retaining and regurgitating tons of useless information . Think Cliff from Cheers. It's a curse.
