Bio
Stephanie Sarazin is the founder of Rise Up Rooted, a budding online community where those presently living with ambiguous grief are invited to seek resources that offers support, affirmations, suggestions, conversation and a community to help navigate the gnarled nuances of the growing emotion often experienced with the loss of a loved one who is still living.
Stephanie received her bachelor’s degree from the College of Human Ecology at Michigan State University (Go Green!) and served as a White House Intern under the Clinton Administration. Upon completion of her internship, she attended the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago and earned a Master of Public Policy. In 2018, she co-authored the Ambiguous Grief Process Model (Caudle & Sarazin), and authored "Soulbroken: A Guidebook for Your Journey Through Ambiguous Grief" (Balance, 2022). Her next book, The Little Book of Loss Rituals (Sourcebooks) is on shelves November 10, 2026.
