Ewa Falk Lundgren

Ewa and her husband Thomas were both born in Sweden. Since the early 1980's they have lived in various countries across the Middle East, initially working as a team in the Decoration department at IKEA Kuwait, until the Iraq invasion forced them to move back to Sweden. In 1994 they finally made Dubai their home. In the summer of 1996 their dream of establishing a home fashion brand which would ultimately save the world from big box corporations, came true when the very first THE One ‘Theatre’ opened its doors in Abu Dhabi. Today the brand is presented in seven countries across the Middle East, was named THE No.1 Best Workplace in the UAE in 2018 after having been ranked in the top 5 for seven consecutive years. Ewa and Thomas have 3 daughters and spend their time skipping across continents to be with them.
