Lindsay is a lot like you. She is reverent and irreverent. Focused and distracted. Enlightened and confused. Inspired and discouraged. Spontaneous and complacent. Observant and oblivious. Benevolent and malevolent. She believes that music is the greatest catalyst for being present in the moment. Yoga keeps her centered, traveling colors her life, and paying it forward feeds her soul. Lindsay is excited to meet you, and hopefully, over time, truly know you.

I started going to TEDxRainier in 2010 and was moved by the impact it had on the local community of Seattle. Having been a volunteer for several organizations (both in giving time and money), I really believe TED is making a lasting and meaningful impact on the world in ways that are truly changing people's worldview and behaviors. After attending several TEDx events I decided I wanted to get more involved and have since be helping out with speaker discovery, speaker evaluation and community engagement.
