Marc Goldman As president of New Jersey’s Farmland Dairies, Marc was responsible for numerous industry developments. He successfully challenged the State of New York’s longstanding practice of excluding out-of-state dairies by bringing and winning a federal constitutional commerce clause case. As a result of that victory in 1987, the New York Market opened to competition and New York’s milk consumers have saved hundreds of millions annually. During debate on the 1990 Farm Bill, Marc proposed to Congress and the dairy industry that processors be allowed to join together to advertise milk. Congress agreed and the dairy industry financed and developed the famous “Milk Mustache” Campaign. Marc developed and marketed Skim Plus®, growing it to become the best-selling brand of skim milk in the metropolitan New York market. Since selling the company in 1999 Marc has studied with and is on the advisory board of the Jerusalem based Aish HaTorah and is a board member of the Republican Jewish Coalition. He is actively involved in several public policy issues; specifically, he is committed to America achieving oil independence. He was appointed by President Bush to the U.S. Holocaust Museum Council in Washington D.C., and is involved in various charitable activities. He was the recipient of the First Annual Crains New York Business All Stars, Who’s Who in Sales and Marketing, Who’s Who in the East 1989-90, the Ellis Island Medal of Honor and the 2016 King David Award by The Jewish Heritage Commission.
