After hitchhiking overland from India to North Europe for 10 months with 70 $, I migrated to the US . Converted my passion for travel and knowing different cultures into an international distribution business which does business in over a 100 countries. Founded Pratham USA in 1998,to support a grassroots initiative to provide universal education to the poorest children in urban slums and rural villages of India .It is now the largest education NGO in the World impacting over 5 million children a year. Created a family foundation which supports health and education NGOs that have a very effective low cost model and which are rapidly scaleable.

Life in general. Specifically,looking for ideas to pull tens millions of children out of their cycle of misery,through providing universal education and basic health and hygiene.

Converting regular government run schools in developing countries into magnet schools to teach science and math in middle and high school using a combination of training teachers,creating a curriculum,establishing metrics and measuring tools to rate progress.already working on it.

The story is in its early chapters and still being written.
