Charles Sennott

Founder and CEO of The GroundTruth Project, which is dedicated to supporting and inspiring a new generation of journalists to tell the most important stories in the world. An award winning foreign correspondent, best selling author and duPont-winning documentary producer, Sennott has been a journalist for thirty years. He was lead foreign correspondent at the Boston Globe, heading up bureaus in Jerusalem, London, Kabul and Baghdad. Correspondent for PBS Frontline covering the Arab spring. He is the co founder of GlobalPost. A builder of journalistic teams globally and nationally, Sennott is committed to saving journalism from the crisis it is in , and has been long before this recent U.S. Election revealed the stakes of a failing free press in a democracy. GroundTruth is based at WGBH in Boston, where Sennott lives with his wife and four teenage sons.
